LONDON FASHION WEEK SS17

September 21, 2016

London Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday after 4 days jam packed with fun and exciting designer shows. We always love going through the recent catwalks and picking out our favourite trends for the next season, and basically eyeing up all of the things we wish we could own! We found some gorgeous outfits on the catwalks from both our favourite designers and also some exciting, new designers. All of these photos are from Vogue.com, head over there to check out all the amazing shows!
Here are 10 designers that we loved from London Fashion Week.

Kelly Simpkin
Some of our favourite looks from the Kelly Simpkin show were definitely the incredible, massive ruffles. Were not entirely sure how we could turn this into something wearable but they are super impressive to look at. We also really loved the maxi skirt with laced eyelets, it's really beautiful and elegant yet edgy.

Cimone
Cimone had a lot of pieces that we really loved the look of. We really enjoyed the bright colours of the colour blocked dresses and the paint splatter printed pieces. The circle cut-out dresses are super fun and exciting and we really hope this trend comes to the high-street.

House of Holland
House of Holland brought back the amazing trend of gingham check. We really love the gingham pieces and especially love the way it was styled with the chunky yellow jumper, and along side some floral prints. Of course, we also loved the dresses with massive sequins as we love anything shiny.

INIFD-LST
This catwalk featured some amazing indian influenced embellishments and prints. We really loved the cropped trousers with the contrasting turn ups. There were some beautiful beaded gowns in stunning bright colours. We really want the pink ruffle skirt and we love how it was styled with a more casual t-shirt.

Mariana Jungmann
We love the floral lace pieces from Mariana, the red top is super wearable and it's definitely something we could see in our wardrobes. The bright, teal maxi skirt and dress are so both pretty and the delicate appliquéd flowers are exciting and add a really feminine feel.

Markus Lupfer
Stripes are definitely a big trend again for next spring/summer, almost every show featured stripes in one way or another! We love the red, black and white striped looks, especially the ruffled dress. We really like the bright mix of print and embroidery on the sheer black fabric and can definitely see this making its way to the high-street.

Roberta Einer
Our favourite outfit from this show was deinitely the striped and embroidered shirt paired with the teal leather skirt with coordinating striped pockets. We really like the black dress with mint green stripe, and love the black fabric it's made with. We are glad to see that the bomber jacket trend will be returning next summer and hope that some cool oversized ones like above make it into high-street stores!

Mary Katrantzou
We always love Mary Katrantzou collections and were really excited to see what there was in store for next summer. Clashing prints are a classic Mary Katrantzou trend and we absolutely love the illusion style prints that are all over this catwalk. We really like the electric pink and blue colours that have been used especially on the peplum maxi skirts!

Three Floor
Ruffles and lace are all over this catwalk which both seem to be trends that are continuing on from our current seasons. We really love the mix of lace and intricate ruffles on these dresses with the interesting wavy straps, the mix gives lightness and delicacy to the dresses. There was a lot of Mediterranean style blues used in this collection and noticeably in a lot of others too so blue lovers you are in for a treat next summer.

Alice Temperley
Alice Temperley is another designer that we like to keep an eye on at all times and we were so glad that the SS17 collection didn't disappoint! There were so many dresses that we loved on this catwalk that it made it really hard for us to choose a few to show you. In this collection pretty pastels walked alongside summery brights. There was a tribal influence in the beautiful prints, colours and detailed embroidery. The colourful, shimmery outfit was at the very top of our list of favourites along with the gorgeous girly dresses with ruffles and embroidered details.
